Ahi Poke

I have been wanting to try this for a while now and finally found all the supplies to do it! I first tried it in April from Islands and really enjoyed it. I like that no matter where you go it tastes the same, a simple and wonderful recipe, but of course can always be made your own.

Ahi Poke ingredients:
.75 lb of Ahi tuna steaks (Sashimi grade)
1 whole shallot, finely sliced
1/4 cup yellow onion, finely sliced
2 TBSP sesame seeds
3 cloves of garlic, finely minced
5 TBSP coconut aminos
2 tbsp sesame oil
sea salt to taste

1. Chop your ahi into bite sized pieces, set to the side
2. Chop and mix all your ingredients
3. Add ahi and let sit for 30 mins
4. Serve with a bed of rice or lettuce!

And enjoy!

I used the recipe from:
